Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern all photography services provided by Gabby Gould Photography to the client ("you"). By booking a session, submitting an inquiry, or using this website, you agree to the following terms.

1. Booking & Retainer

  • A non‑refundable retainer of 50% is required to secure your session date.

  • Your session is not considered booked until the retainer is received and a confirmation is sent.

  • The retainer is applied toward your total balance.

2. Payment

  • The remaining balance is due before the session.

  • Accepted forms of payment include [list payment methods].

  • Prices are subject to change without notice, but confirmed bookings will honor the agreed‑upon rate.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made by the client result in forfeiture of the retainer.

  • One reschedule may be permitted due to illness or emergency, subject to availability.

  • Weather‑related rescheduling for outdoor sessions will be determined by the Photographer.

4. Late Arrivals

  • Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time.

  • Late arrivals may result in reduced shooting time and are not eligible for refunds.

5. Session Expectations

  • The Photographer’s style is candid, natural, and lifestyle‑focused.

  • While every effort is made to capture meaningful moments, specific poses or expressions cannot be guaranteed, especially with children.

  • Cooperation of all participants greatly affects the final gallery.

6. Image Selection & Editing

  • The Photographer selects the best images from the session for editing and delivery.

  • Editing includes color correction, exposure adjustments, and light retouching consistent with the Photographer’s style.

  • Unedited (RAW) images are not provided.

7. Gallery Delivery

  • Galleries are delivered within [2] weeks via an online gallery.

  • Galleries will remain available for [120] days. Clients are responsible for downloading and backing up images.

8. Copyright & Usage

  • The Photographer retains full copyright to all images.

  • Clients receive a personal use license to print and share images for non‑commercial purposes.

  • Images may not be altered, sold, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.

9. Model Release

  • Unless otherwise stated in writing, the client grants the Photographer permission to use images for portfolio, website, social media, and marketing purposes.

  • Clients may request to opt out of this release prior to the session.

10. Safety & Cooperation

  • The Photographer is not responsible for injuries, damages, or loss that occur during the session.

  • Clients are responsible for the behavior and safety of all participants, including children.

11. Force Majeure

  • The Photographer is not liable for failure to perform services due to events beyond control, including but not limited to illness, weather, natural disasters, or equipment failure.

  • In such cases, the Photographer will reschedule or refund payments made (excluding the retainer, unless otherwise agreed).

12. Limitation of Liability

  • The Photographer’s liability is limited to the amount paid by the client.

  • No guarantees are made regarding specific images or outcomes.

13. Website Use

  • All content on this website is the property of the Photographer and may not be copied or used without permission.

14. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut.
